If you can't remove an obstacle to progress you go around it. Very sound strategy.

And if diversity is our strength, why would we stifle it by putting every kid into a cookie cutter, least common denominator, government school?

Use the vouchers to take money away from public schools, then lower the funding for the vouchers, and we are in a society in which it takes serious money to get a decent education.
