First Marathon reitterates spec. buy on Bre-X.
Analyst Kerry Smith mentions that to date 5000 check assays have been taken and verified with independent labs. Mentions that similar whole core cyanide leach assays are also used at nearby Kalian mine. Expects Bre-X cows to be signed once Freeport completes due diligence by mid April.

Content of Smith's analysis should have been the release BXM issued last week.

Nesbitt analysts in conference call with Bre-X today.
