It doesn't surprise me. Here in the Silicon Valley we have the "Silicon Valley Leadership Group" that pretends to do what is best for the people. What it really does and is funded to do is try to make it easier for large tech companies to locate here and recruit top talent using our quality of life (especially the liberal society) as a key attraction. Ironically, they are destroying this key attraction, the quality of life where there was room before they came for poor artists and dishwashers to find housing, has been mostly destroyed with massive gentrification. To hide it, they isolate their plebes in massive, everything Mommy used to provide, campuses that they only escape from to sleep in expensive housing with massive commutes.
