First, it had nothing to do with his liberal ideology. But secondly, it was very simplistic -- something like a 10 page paper -- and really was not in any way ground breaking. In fact, it was essentially the same as what you'd do in a graduate managerial accounting or microeconomics course.

Very unimpressive. I'm not sure why anyone would have deemed it worthy of a major award of any kind. It wasn't revolutionary, regardless of what they say.
