Re: IIG and GENI - Déja Vu
Today we learn that "Don Danks, the Chairman and CEO of Imergent, Inc. has filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court against Stocklemon.com and its principals for $15 million." What does Imergent, Inc. do? According to their web site:
eCommerce enabled storefronts Creative aids to create distinct web page graphics Auto responders Online technical support Advanced programming available Guaranteed site traffic program Tracking software to monitor hits and unique visitors Real-time online credit card and check processing Internet classified advertisements Ten-week executive mentoring program And more! imergentinc.com
But, according to StockLemon: "Although Imergent claims they are in the software business, they are actually in the business of giving seminars and hard selling people into buying software to make an e-commerce store, operating under the trade names “Storesonline”, and previously, “Galaxy Mall”." stocklemon.com
Let's flash back to Genesis Intermedia (GENI), a stock that, before it was eventually halted by the SEC for all sorts of scammy things, threatened to sue an anonymous Yahoo! poster ( see "Anonymous Yahoo! poster claims GENI is considering a lawsuit against its critics": Message 16143378 ). Said critic, like StockLemon, had put up her own web page on how she claimed GENI had scammed her. Here is what GENI purported to have sold her:
ORDERED - 2 online shopping mall sites in which I would make commission off the sales from the stores and sell TrimLife products - a monthly/weekly sweepstakes on the malls to generate high volume of traffic - 1 year of web hosting - an "ishopper commerce package" in which I would have them develop 2 websites for me - marketing coaching for the sites - customer service support - maintenance of the sites by a webmaster in the "success team" web.archive.org
This comes from an email I received in 2001:
I just spoke with the xxxxx, and he bought into the same package as I did, including ishopper, the coaching from PMI, and istopmall. He bought it from Genesis. He talked to the same salesperson, Michael (Chris) Holmgren, as I did. He received his call from Genesis within 24 hours of buying a manual from Uclick2learn. He even got an invoice from Genesis showing the products he received as having "uclick" on them. His credit card was charged to Uclick. He bought his package in October, 2000.
Recall from the StockLemon exposé:
PMI Coaching … Hold on to your wallets.
In the conference call held on February 25, 2005, The Boston Company analyst Randy Watts asked CEO Danks about the issue that one of the “recurring complaints is that the customers get up-selled to this executive mentor…”
Danks responds by referring to these mentors as, “A great group of people”. This executive mentoring is done by a company called PMI Coaching. PMI Coaching has almost as bad a reputation on the internet as iMergent. PMI Coaching up-sells services to many different “wealth building” industries including, but not limited to, internet and real estate.
PMI Coaching has an unsatisfactory record with the Better Business Beureau of Salt Lake City. saltlakecity.bbb.org
PMI used to be a division of Fortune Financial Systems (OTCBB:FFSY) which currently trades on the pink sheets at a price of .0001. Besides PMI Coaching, Fortune also was a partner is a get rich quick real estate operation in which they were partners with Steve Sitowski, former employee of William J McCorkle who is currently serving 23 years in prison for fraud among other charges. rd.com
PMI Coaching's record with the online site “The Rip Off Report” is just as bad as the one from Storesonline. Please read this thread to get an idea of who iMergent turns over its customers to. Click here

More from my email archives:
I became interested in Genesis Media because the following people/companies used their services. 1. Michael T. Warren - strong ties to David Hampton Tedder 2. Global Research Corp. (or whatever - in SEC forms) - Fontallis company - ties to David Hampton Tedder 3. Fortune 21 Inc. - involved in a number of stock transactions with Fortune Financial Systems (FFSY) - involved in FFSY was James Byrd and Douglas Shane Hackett. Because Douglas Shane Hackett was involved in the Charles J. Givens Organization, as was Tedder, I have followed him for some time. Douglas Shane Hackett was also involved in iShopper which was part of the package marketed by Genesis Media. iShopper also was involved in stock transactions with GoThink which may have been James Byrd. Douglas Shane Hackett recently became involved in a company with Lawrence Pino, another Givens person. Pino speaks at seminars sponsored by a George Fontallis company. I guess there is the possibility that Pino, Tedder, and Fontallis speak at some of the same seminars.
Couple of interesting sidenotes. Adam Starchild mentioned ELetter which is a subsidiary of GenesisIntermedia. Mark Colosi was officer of the Nevada corporations Igrapevine and Mustang Marketing. Mark Colosi was also mentioned in the case against Yank Berry. Statement about being released from bond obligation. Mark Colosi faced action by FTC. Part of action related to a coupons for demand program. There were coupon programs marketed at Igrapevine and Galaxy sites. Tie between GenesisIntermedia, FFSY, and Galaxy is probably PMI Coaching.
The conclusion of several of us behind the scenes, which we never proved so take it for what it's worth, is that, based on solicitations published in Mormon publications, there was a Mormon connection. I'll leave it at that.
