Addi. I don't mean to be dis-respective or anything. You are a great contributor to this thread. I respect your decision to stick with your investment strategy. But I am wondering why do you think there will be a massive sell-off in the tech sector in March-April? All the economic indicators are pretty strong. Investors are just jumping back onto high tech. And NASDAQ did jump up 12.5% since beginning of the year, but that was after some massive sell off at the end of last year. People are talking about NASDAQ hitting 2000 sometime soon. I am just wondering what is your reasoning to think that we will have a sell-off? By the way, I don't live in the Bay Area. I live in MSFT country in Seattle. I don't like MSFT as a company, but I've got to love there stock performance. I just realized last week that Bill Gates is worth 48B now. If he were to give his money to all his MSFT employees each MSFT employee will get 5M. If he were to give his money to all people in Seattle, each one in Seattle will get $100,000. No wonder this town is worshipping the guy like GOD. I don't think I can qualify myself as successful investor. I like DELL cause I like the PC I ordered from them. I think I was lucky in making that decision. But I also invested heavily in SGI even when it was on its down trend. I like SGI because the company I worked for uses their boxes. I bought SUNW because I am using the UltraSparc 20 at work. I started invested in MSFT, INTC last year just to be placing some safe bets: If UNIX bombs, then at least WINTEL will do well. I don't think I can qualify myself as a good investor, but rather someone just happen to be lucky. Anyways, peace and happy investing. :)
