Ray, they all cats:

Leopard is a cat found in Africa and Asia. It's yellowish fur is patterned with black spots and rings. Panther is a black Leopard, it is the same animal but black.

Jaguars are a separate cat species, found from US to Argentina. It has a yellow or light brown coat with black rings and spots, some rings surround spots, a feature which distinguishes it from a Leopard.

Puma or Cougar is also a cat, it is sometimes called Mountain Lion. Pumas vary in size and color.

PS Just to confuse you more, Pumas are often called Panthers and French word Cougar originated from Portuguese Jaguar.

Finally, I like Panthers over Jaguars in the Super Ball.
