Don't you think that ASND management was asking, how are we going to put the two companies together and avoid becoming another BAY? Do you really think for one second they would enter into this merger without a well defined game plan? The words you will be assimilated come to mind. Ascend management has been very good about shipping product. Not planning on shipping produce. Not talking about shipping product. Not planning about talking about what the product that will someday ship will look like. Just shipping product. Not much is allowed to get in the way of shipping product. It seems that this novel approach to business turns some people off. If there are any at the ex CSCD that can't handle shipping product I suspect they will be happier elsewhere. At least that's my guess as to the Ascend game plan. There are now more people so therefor more product must be shipped. Simple, no? Perhaps things have changed in the last year and a half and there isn't so much emphasis on shipping product, but somehow I don't think so. // marc
