It doesn't.

Speaking of iMac, reminds me...

In the last few day, I've seen some interesting news on hand-helds & NCs:
- a VC group recently formed to focus on hand-device startups (is this the 1st VC firm to take this brave step?)
- a NC company released a PR claiming a joint announcement w/ Cyrix (but the PR didn't contain NSM boilerplate & contact name, i.e. so probably not endorsed by NSM/Cyrix)
- CEO of Palm Computing (now a division of 3Com) just started a new hand-held device co.

Looks like the USA is beginning to make some movement back into this area after being burned by an approx. $1B in total failed investments in this product area. So, we may begin to see some new product announcements from these investments in the next year.

No news on which chips are being used. Am sort of hearing Hitachi on the (really) low-end and Cyrix on the higher-end (i.e. NC). Have the impression Intel/StrongARM will attempt to capture the low-end.
