if you believe that there will be SO MUCH upside that the 15 points between 155 and 140 will be irrelevant compared to the total upside, then you would be better off getting more of the cheaper calls rather than fewer of the more expensive ones.

here's an exercise: suppose you have $10,000 to invest, and you are sure that on options expiration day, intel stock will be at $250. see whether it's better to buy the 140's or the 150's.
