Dear Dwight: Further to this point BMW recently bought Rolls Royce. When the bidding for Rolls Royce got hot and heavy BMW, which already had a piece of Rolls, said if you don't sell to us we will stop making the engines for Rolls. Nobody batted an eyelash and BMW was the successful bidder. I guess it is all in how you tell the joke. JFD
