A nail in the AOL coffin? What in the press release would make you come to that conclusion. From first glance, it sounds like an alliance announcement (nothing set in stone). I'm sure Oracle and MSFT have their own ideas of what a "network appliance" will be. I bet they can't wait to work together...not.

No where does it mention what the costs will be, although they do use a lot of buzzwords. What is the bottom line cost to the consumer? To the business owner? It seems to me from the release they are targeting more the business side then consumer market. Regardless, I don't believe that the "network appliance" will ever take off.
