Voodo, the advice is good, but ...

I have no doubt we are dealing with professionals with a track record. So what? The guys with the most home runs also tend to get lots of strikeouts.

Asensio or his friends could have made a profit had they covered in the teens. They got greedy, cocky, who knows and they blew that round and just shorted deeper into a hole. Not very professional. A professional cuts his losses short, so to speak.

I am not even saying they can not minimize their losses, especially in this market. I am simply saying that people joining him now are more likely to lose because I submit he will, use them to replace him in the trap.

As for me, I can make millions even if I see 7 before I see 70 or 700. No margin and a steady income means Asensio can not hurt me by any temporary moves if I am right. Since I have lots of assets outside of REFR, I can retire even if Asensio were right.

A professional, by the way, stays in an area he understands. When he strays into other areas and claims that he is a professional, we often call him names like quack. As an example, I have many friends who are doctors and who have tons of education. Studies show doctors are among the worst investors. There are many reasons why but the biggest one is that they THINK they are smart and can do anything and thus do not prepare themselves adequately. There are many such examples.

Nothing Asensio has written makes me think he has any idea what REFR is about and how likely it is it will go to market. He discounts anything said by the company and by the licensees that have stated they will be making products soon. So, he is completely unprofessional here. A pro has a goal of making money.

I think I have explained that I believe this is not his usual scenario. He and clients entered REFR at a time when a short could have made sense, especially if they had enough time to finish their manipulation and get out before things turned up. They miscalculated and news began coming. They reflexively shorted into news (not very professional to not TYHINK first) and got deeper and now are desperate and must use techniques to try to fool people.

Maybe I am not clear that there are bad companies out there and shorts who can find those have my admiration, although I choose not to join them just as I choose not to buy stock in tobacco companies. Just not my style. There are companies that make perfect sense to short, including just about anything at Nasdaq 5000+. My thesis here is not that Asensio does not bat over 500. It is that he can not handle this lefthanded REFR pitcher.

You are free to draw your own conclusions and make your own decisions. My decision was made long before Asensio and his presence validates my decision because the stock remains strong despite his manipulations and indicates the stock price does not reflect the current value of REFR, let alone the future value.
