My son plays games on an iPad 1.0. He wants this game called Plants versus Zombies 2 (who wouldn't want that, right?).

So I downloaded the game onto my PC. I attached the iPad 1.0. I selected apps, then went to Plants versus Zombies 2 and clicked on Install. I then selected Sync. Normally this process would put the game onto the iPad 1.0.

However, the iPad appears to sync with a rotating circle, then it stops, and Plants versus Zombies 2 has not been installed on the iPad 1.0. Rather than having Remove next to the game, it still says Install as if nothing has been done.

And there is no error message. There is plenty of empty space on the iPad.

Any idea why this particular game is failing to install? I've removed the iPad and reconnected it and tried again with the same non-result.

Never mind, I've figured it out. Evidently Plants versus Zombies 2 requires a front facing camera, which the iPad 1.0 lacks.

Now I'm wondering why a game would require a front facing camera and whether this game is appropriate for my 6 year old who plays it on an iPad 2.0....I think he's a bit young to be interacting with other players over the internet.
