India's arms race is pushing Pakistan into bankruptcy, create endogenous chaos in Pakistan and facilitate further dissension and break-up of Pakistan. I won't be surprised if their fate will be like that of Afganisthan.

Well long before your dreams have a chance of coming true, there will be the official recognition of the LoC as the boundary. Guess how the new map of India is going to look to the Hindutva adherents, eh???? Not too pretty, I guess!<g>

Pakistan can't match India Dollar for Dollar in arms race.

It doesn't have to. Pakistan's forte' is to engage India in gruelling low-cost, low-intensity conflicts. And everytime India will have to beat it back after spending several times the amount that Pakistan did in order to initiate the conflicts. Besides, if its security is ever seriously threatened, Pakistan always has the N-option. Now, that alone should make the US tilt the balance in Pakistan's favor from time to time. Because now that India has foolishly unleashed the N-race in the subcontinent, the conflicts in that region of the world are no longer solely Pakistan's problems; they have become the world's problems!
