Kevin, the smart thing to do is buy the puts and calls. I do not option presently as a principle. I choose not to due to an agreement I made with my wife when I entered into the market (gambling etc...)

I do though study options and the effect they have on stock prices, the way they forcast events etc...

Going long and short on this issue is in small part due to the respect I have for the issue. But the daily fluctuations, the gaps in the open, the afternoon sell-offs etc... I never trade the same issue twice in the same week. This was the second time I have. (IMPX was the first!)

The fluctuations in price are what make this ideal for day trading. If you go in with the idea your going to make the big kill, your chances of getting creamed are pretty good with IOMG!

I am short @24 and long @ 23! Go figure!

Rich

BTW I don't mind ever stating a position. Hindsight tells me it establishes part of a persons credibility (or mental state!!!)
