She wrote an excellent book some years ago and described her father (I think) being taken to a hospital is Israel after being attacked by Lebanese. It has been a long time since I read it but it was a really fascinating story. I hate seeing her on TV now because she can be pretty obnoxious, but her telling the story of growing up and dealing with the hatred from her own people, and being saved by Israelis from certain death -- that story was excellent.
