My families trouble with the law in Arkansas go back many generations. However, the latest incidence just shows the level of prejudice certain people still harbor for those of us that might occasionally cross the border. I was arrested , convicted, fined, and sent packing all over a slight misunderstanding of an almost indecipherable law. Did you know that there is a frog season?
The game warden was not amused when I brought the sack full of bullfrogs into a greasy spoon and asked if they could fry them for me. Much to my chagrin was the issue of not only hunting those beast out of season but also using a 22 caliber rifle. That technically did not qualify as using a gig even though I thought I presented an interesting argument to the contrary. Hopefully everyone reading this missive will get the point about hunting frogs...You need to go to Law School first.
