Does anyone here actually own some GNT? The way they account for their loans seems extremely aggressive--when they make or purchase a new loan, they book the net present value of the entire loan at the point of origination, rather than only booking the cash flows they receive in a given period. Does anyone know if this is standard accounting practices, even if the loans are securitized?
