Market Monitor columnist Gary Lamphier says in an Analyst Action highlight
in the Saturday edition of the Vancouver Sun that if you are looking for
capital growth and dividend income, Edmonton-based Telus and
Vancouver-based BC Telecom are worth checking out. Both stocks are rated
"accumulate" by Canaccord Capital analysts Murray Grossner and Gurinder
Parhar. Telus, which has just reported an 89 per-cent increase in
fourth-quarter earnings, closed at $21.20 on Friday on the Toronto Stock
Exchange. Canaccord's 12-month target for the stock is $24. On Friday,
shares of BC Tel closed at $30.75, well less than Canaccord's 12-month
target of $35. BC Tel and Telus boast dividend yields of about 4.3 per-cent
apiece.

I think the target for Telus should be around $25-28 personally based on assets!
