I was right there and could not believe that Special Interest Groups could control the St. Lucie County Commissioners.These people had several little children of theirs read to the commission that Fort Pierce would become another Atlantic City. County Commisioners were defintely intimiated by this so-called religous org. It was a circus to say the least. I talked to Bennet Collet Jr. and Tim Hensely they indicated the Miami Fronton and Tampa Fronton the major markets anyway would be a huge success when card games open in 2 weeks. The West Palm Kennell club just opened card rooms and this has rejuvenated their business. The Fort Pierce issue will eventually be passed.
