This management group has their fingers in a lot of pies. They did an IPO called Big Bear which has become Renata Resources and are in the process of, or have completed another IPO. I don't know that all their energy is necessarily focused on SDX right now. As far as short term price movement I would suggest flat or down unless a takeover is announced. The price of crude is certainly not going much higher from where it is now in the next 3 months, Renaissance got hammered today for overestimating production forecasts and other oils got caught in the crossfire, and Stampeder's big growth projects are heavy oil which will be so abundant in the next six months that even the guys selling "Spare Change" newspapers on the street corners won't be able to give it away.

As negative as I sound, I think this might be a good short term pick because of its potential for a takeover. However, there may still be some weakness required in the stock price before things get exciting.
That's my two cents,
Dean
