I don't think Emerald can do much anymore.

Matridigm released some "news" today and there was a lot of activity in the stock, but most of that activity looked like SOES traders shaving eighths when the market makers tried to pump the stock. Note how the stock peaked at 24 and started tanking as numerous 1000 share blocks were sold off before closing. I'm guessing the stock will open lower on Tuesday.

The only buyers from this point out will be small investors who still don't have a clue and SOES traders who will try to pocket some of their money. I seriously doubt that any large buyers will show up unless Zitel is actually able to earn some money. We already know that their core business is dead and it is not very clear exactly what Matridigm's contribution is to Zitel's bottom linet. The fact that Matridigm is currently bleeding money, has no customers, a very small time frame to get customers, and tons of competitors in a business which is not anywhere near as large as the Y2K doomsayers claim it is does not bode well for either company.

Zitel is a great short at any price above 5. Patience and the discipline to ride out volatility is the key with this stock. Going long on this stock relies on the greater fool theory, going short relies on facts and fundamentals. My experience has shown that the latter usually rewards investors 100% of the time. Whatever Emerald does at this point is irrelevant.
