Good idea, this thread. Consider this: Do you know anyone who will not want to have a "little" extra cash on hand on 1-1-00. In fact, won't most of us try to prepare for a disruption lasting a month or so? I do not intend to wait until December to make my withdrawals. The last quarter of 99 will no doubt be interesting for the banking business.

Wanna bet that even Bill Wexler stockpiles some "beans, bullets & band-aids", just in case.
