You know what I find amazing.... With all the controversy swirling about the company + the scary incident when the offices were raided and the top management was led away in handcuffs + the fact that most everyone in the industry is very aware that Avant is indeed a crooked operation...you'd figure that this company would be padlocked by now. Instead, it trades publicly and has a market cap damn near $1 billion!!! I guess this will become one of those funny stories like Bre-x when people look back on the 1990s bull market.
