How about looking at the perspective of possible lawsuits. I bet that if a few large corporations end up with desktop anchors on 1/1/00, heads are going to roll and the lawyers will come out of their pits. Might want to try puts on some of the larger software companies later on in the year.
A second idea would be to short banks and financial institutions around October as money starts to migrate from accounts to mattresses and back yards.
Just a couple of doom and gloom ideas.
