I'd be careful with this one. Has anyone been able to locate any information other than through the Stock Investor newsletter? Except for the press releases since December, I can't find one filing or any other information. Also, if you check out www.elaol.com, its a ripoff of Yahoo, and all the links go to the default page on a secured server. Hardly functional. The search button doesn't even work.

The currently touted site dlrcia.com found in the recommendation at imcadvisors.com at least has links to different html pages, but they are all on a secured server. I don't know why ELAOL would want to prevent the public from using their site. To open it up, and have the much of the Spanish Speaking net population using the site should provide plenty of advertising revenue. Also, the URL is a little tough to get to.

The www.globaldatatel.com site has little information, and many of the links point back to the same main page, instead of where I thought I might find additional information. The site seems to be relying heavily on using global Datatel's partnerships (not that hard to get) with IBM and Microsoft instead of a real service or product to convince people they are a great company.

Finally, it's interesting that Richard Baker is not only the CEO of Global DataTel, but also the Domain name registrant of both www.globaldatatel.com and www.elaol.com. I find it interesting that a company poised for so much growth has the CEO registering domain names instead of spending his time to make sure his company is strategically prepared to handle this growth.

I may be being tough on a startup company, but a press release on Friday stated that they have already signed up 40,000 users.

Now where is that Latin American Portal site that really works so these 40,000 users can gain easy access to the web?

I'm not sure where the Investor Newsletter is coming from, and how they go my name and others, but I would be a little concerned that they are just hyping the stock for their own profit using a hot sector such as the Internet to lure people into investing.

Just my humble opinion. Please do your own DD, and let me know if you find anything that warrants a second look.

David
