Forest, I've all but stopped following this one. Based on my 6 month old conversations with management and more recent conversations here in the forum I've concluded that valence is having trouble producing a prototype which will meet the requirements of the customers. Addto that the prospect of having to ramp up a production facillity to try to mass produce any battery which finally meets spec and we see profitability well on down the road if at all.

In the same busines is Ultralife which has a 50 M contract with a cell phone company and I understand recently received another contract for their rechargeable Li polymer batteries. Even that news can't seem to raise the price of their stock beyond a 5 month trading range of 12 to 15 and the last analyst report I knew is that they were supposed to start production last month.

As I said I have not been following either too closely but I would sooner put my money on ULBI than VLNC. The last pop on VLNC coincided with a Dorfman report and I believe that any future news event might be a short lived opportunity to head for more immediately green pastures.

Best regards,
TOMSTER
