You have some of the most illogical conclusions.. IBM declines to buy NOVL despite pressure from shareholders.. April 30th edition of Wall Street Journal (page B7)... ...Some observers have faulted IBM for using much of the $6 billion to $7 billion in cash it throws off each year for buying back its own shares instead of acquisitions or other uses. Several shareholders at the meeting urged IBM to buy UNISYS Corp., Novell Corp. or another STRUGGLING technology company to boost revenue..... =================== How do you figure this is the bottom line Vinod??? I really thought you could do better than this...but once again you prove me wrong. =================== Bottom line: Analysts see Novell as in the same boat as Unisys and look wher Unisys stock is trading today....$6 + change. ======================== What analysts...where? Please provide date to back this up. ======================== You long termers better hope for a Novell turn around or a buyout from HP, SUN, DEC...or perhaps even Unisys. =========================== What would you call the last couple of days of trading...10 million yesterday!!! =========================== On the other hand....Novel + Unisys is definitly a gone case so forget I even mentioned Unisys as the acquirer. ===================== Was this an attempt at humor?? ===================== Jean
