STABLE TECHNICAL GRAPHS is, IMO, not worth the $$$. Keeps blowing up after I view 2 or 3 charts. Also, their handling of Point and Figure Charting is weak.

However, for you Visual Basic enthusiasts, the folks at

mobiusconsulting.com

have a Financial Charting VBX control which I have downloaded and will begin to test tomorrow. Point and Figure capability is a planned enhancement. E-Mailed them to find out when.

Overall, the status of PNF charting is that it is probably well-done in the professional (and expensive) products, but major crapola in the cheaper stuff. Consequently, I am going to write my own PNF charting program, but if MOBIUS comes out with the PNF control fairly soon, I'll wait for that afore I begin.
