Ecu Gold Mining: Drilling Begins on the Sao Fernando
Property

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--Ecu Gold Mining inc. (Ecudor) announces that it
has acquired a 322 hectare property adjacent to its Sao Fernando
Property, situated in northeastern Brazil in State of Rio Grande
do Norte. The company is also continuing its extensive exploration
program on the Sao Fernando Property by beginning drilling on the
property.

The property which the company has just acquired covers an area of
322 hectares and is contiguous with the Sao Fernando Property. It
lies directly on the northward extension of the shear zone
containing the mineralized zone which is presently more than 1
kilometer long in the Serra dos Rodriges area.

With this new acquisition, the company increases the potential of
its Sao Fernando Property by increasing the number of quality
targets to more than twenty. The drilling program presently
underway in Brazil will determine the potential of these targets.

Ecu Gold Mining Inc. is a mining exploration company which holds
22 properties in Quebec, Ontario, the Northwest Territories,
Montana (US), South Africa, and Brazil. It also holds an option to
acquire 50 percent of the Bell Mountain Property in Nevada (US)
where drilling is presently underway.
