OT/Doug. Thx for the peek the Gore's operation. Sordid and depressing.

Politicians have always been known to exaggerate. They are really just salesmen who have nothing to sell but themselves. Some degree of hype and melodrama are regular ingredients every salesman's tool bag. But there's a line that when crossed will land the insurance or used car salesman in jail for cheating the client, stealing from the firm, etc etc.

As I've said in at least 3 recent posts, the Clinton/Gore faction of the democrat party represents a radical departure from the ethics and standards of fair play common to the majority party members. The magnitude of that departure "crosses the line" and in my eyes puts this rogue faction into a pattern of illegal as well as chronic unethical behavior. Gore's maniacal obsession with winning no matter what the cost may cripple the party for years to come if it's better elements don't: 1. Reign in this divisive, destructive man and his followers and 2. Take care that they have no leadership role in the future.

The outright lying about the demonstrations in Miami/Dade has been getting more and more pronounced every time another democrat face steps in front of the TV cameras. Lieberman was sent out by Gore to start the ball rolling and the familiar faces picked up the script immediately.

The worst yet was US House member Jerry Nadler from N.Y. who was literally shouting reckless and wild exaggerations that had little or no connection with what I saw in all the videos and statements I've heard by participants on the scene at the time.

Sure hope the US Supreme Court can put an end to this dark episode of American History next weekend.
