It's hard to be misguided by the facts. FWIW, Stillwell didn't group all libs together. She spoke about a large vocal minority in the dem party that have taken control. Heck, your DNC Chairman is a hard left winger who essentially faced no serious opposition for the job.
And she's not alone in that thinking. For decades, dems have been by far the largest % of registered voters in the country, even as recently as the 2002 elections. They are now about the same %, perhaps slightly smaller than registered Republicans. The numbers of dems leaving the party in the last 5 years is dramatic & undeniable.
Something is driving dems away from the party in substantial numbers. If Stillwell is so wrong, what are the real reasons dems are leaving?
If, as so many remaining libs fervently believe (sans any real facts); Bush lied, is a warmongering, bloodthirsty, big corporation friendly, ecological terrorist, fascist, religious extremist, ET AL; why then are Republicans gaining members while dems lose them?
You have to admit, if Bush & Republicans are what libs claim they are, then the dems must be really off the charts. |
