FWIW, I asked the question in regard to the specific issues in the post, (Considering the massive liberal MSM smear campaign against Bush, why didn't Kerry win in an historic landslide?); not your personal opinions why Kerry lost. RE: The Swift Boat Vets for the Truth; they didn't lie or mudsling (although Kerry & the MSM lied about & smeared the Swift Boat Vets repeatedly). In fact, the Swift Vets used Kerry's own words to help prove Kerry lied, deceived & committed acts of treachery. The real facts are available for anyone willing to seek the unadulterated truth. "No one ever challenged that lump in Bush's back which I think was a microphone.." LOL! That was one of the lamest non-issues that libs attempted to make into an issue of the campaign. How did that lump communicate with Bush? Was it through an invisible ear piece? How did Bush manage to receive transmissions so fast that he was able to respond immediately to the questions? Think about that for a minute Suma. Think about how huge & involved this massive conspiracy would need to be to be able to immediately transmit talking points to Bush when no one other than the host knew the questions & what order they would be asked. And I'm gobsmacked that you think this is among the major reasons Bush won (or Kerry lost) the election. Dowd lies, distorts & intentionally deceives. And she does so with the blessing of the New York Times. Coulter doesn't. Coulter speaks bluntly & she's brutally honest. In Coulter's case, the truth hurts. "Anyway.. Bush also appealed to the RELIGIOUS RIGHT and their anti gay and anti abortion stand. Spending time in Religious right country in the summers I know how easily those congregations are led by the nose by their preachers..... Oh, by the way, the guy who was jut caught for all those murders... an ardent church goer and member.. " WOW! Sounds like an intolerant bigot's POV to me. Shame on you!
