Give it a rest... even DELL, which has only a single distribution model and has all of the sales data on line, needs two weeks to tally up the data. CPQ has a very complex distribution model and different revenue recognition in many of its product lines. Large system orders or front loaded services contracts can swing EPS by several cents on a single deal. The quarter is not even over yet.

Maybe you shoud start that technology company to gather info - sounds like you could shut down IDC and dataquest (who need about 3 weeks to roll up the numbers) and provide a big service to every other company in the industry - especially if you can predict the quarter numbers accurately a couple of weeks before the quarter actually ends...
