I've been off-line for a while but just got back. Haven't read the backlog of posts but have some interesting news/comments...
I ran into a Nextel Marketing person at Atlanta Airport yesterday. We had a very good chat. When I told him my number one position was NXTL and I was from San Diego, he said Arnie? They read this thread all the time. Hi Miguel, I know you are reading this...
Anyway, he was very upbeat, everything is on track, they are now cash flow positive. i1000 very well received, South America is coming along. Indonesia was a bust, but a very small committment on the big scheme of things. I made some marketing suggestions he took on board.
Arnie, as positively as he spoke of you, you ought to apply for the next outside board member seat that comes up.
Also, Ed Pittman, your technical analysis was also highly complemented. Excellent work gentlemen.
Hope I can get up to speed on this thread before I leave for Korea and Japan on Tuesday.

P.S. ***OT*** I went to game 6 Wed nite at Turner field--in full Padre regalia. Cudos to the Braves Fans. Great sports. After the game everyone that said anything said to go sweep NY in four! Turner Field is one nice ball park. They have a stand where the bring in a food from the visiting teams home city and for SD it was Fish Tacos and Corona! They wern't great but it was a good try. They didn't serve the Corona with a lime either. |
