I have the Acronis program installed mainly to access the data on the images. You can access the data in two ways. First by right clicking on the image file.

This is what my Hard Drives look like

Here is the "right click" method of accessing the files. In this case the win sxs files

2.bp.blogspot.com

3.bp.blogspot.com

or by mounting the image. You can mount it so the new drives are just readable, or you can open files, edit them and re save the new image.

This is the same files accessed by mounting the image first.

2.bp.blogspot.com

You can do this with Ghost too. I only use Acronis these days. It works fine. I keep well away from the secure zone, one clicks, and scheduled backups though.
