This does look pretty similar to the 7/30 move. However, a big distinguishing element of that move was that we were bouncing off the 40 wk mov. avg. (approximately), with the 150 dma trending up (as apposed to the current trend down). We had also had a nice looking 'near reversal' on 7/24.

All in all though, the moves look pretty similar so far. You made an excellent comparison. I will feel a lot better when the intermediate stochastics and MACD confirm a buy signal. The shorter term one have registered a buy (as you mentioned), and the intermediate term ones are very close to doing so... a good up day or two would do so.

Moreover, I will start sleeping well again when we break the L/T downtrend line (currently at 18.375 approx. and moving down). That will register a L/T bullish Triangle breakout. In the meantime, I'm watching WSTL and PAIR closely for their Triangle breakouts.
