Int'l Speculator says buy Western Lithium
2009-08-25 19:07 ET - In the News Shares issued 62,220,000 WLC Close 2009-08-25 C$ 1.13
The International Speculator in its Aug. 3, 2009, issue, says buy Western Lithium Canada Corp. at 59 cent, officially, "Buy under C$0.50." The newsletter said buy on Jan. 28, 2009, at 76 cents. An investment of $1,000 is worth $769. Given the small gap between the current price and the buy price, most investors when told to buy would simply pay market. The writer goes over the press releases and does not see much in the way of news. Western Lithium continues to advance its Kings Valley project in Nevada toward feasibility. His idea is to use the "boring" engineering phase of development to buy on weakness. For "stink" or lowball bids, try 40 cents. On the corporate front, Western Lithium on July 8 said it joined the National Alliance for Advanced Transportation Batteries. NAATBatt is a not-for-profit co-operative -- another way of saying "lobby group" -- of more than 50 battery developers and materials suppliers. Its members include BASF, Bosch, ConocoPhillips, FMC, Rockwood Holdings and Siemens. This is good public relations for Western Lithium, says the writer, but not story-changing. Sister publication Casey Investment Alert got the jump on International Speculator with a Dec. 29, 2008, buy at 19 cents. _______________________________________________________________

Int'l Speculator says Western Lithium not a buy here
2009-07-17 15:45 ET - In the News Shares issued 62,220,000 WLC Close 2009-07-16 C$ 0.59
The International Speculator in its July 1, 2009, issue, says buy Western Lithium Canada Corp., now 65 cents, officially, "Buy under C$0.50." The newsletter said buy on Jan. 28, 2009, at 76 cents. An investment of $1,000 is worth $846. Lukewarm buys such as this one are difficult for investors to follow because of the gap between the trading price and the buy price. The result is we have a fudged buy that really means do not buy. The Speculator's writer scans the press releases and says his North American lithium speculation continues to advance its Kings Valley lithium project in Nevada. He notes the lack of press releases; talking points are few. He figures the news slump and slow market increase the odds of getting a better entry point. That means investors should hold out for 50 cents or better. Aggressive buyers can try for 40 cents, in what the writer calls a "stink bid." Sister publication Casey Investment Alert got the jump on International Speculator with a Dec. 29, 2008, buy at 19 cents.
