The issue is that when fighting terrorist who do not obey to any law and in to many instances posed wounded or even raised their hands only to trigger an explosive when you come close makes it difficult to judge.

To many soldiers died and/or were badly wounded in more than one instance after they were giving themselves up - yes many play by the rule, but to many are out to kill you and themselves.

Urge every one to sign the petition - under duress is difficult to judge more so that your life is at real risk and you could be blown up in pieces without notice - the Marine judgement is justified under the circumstances after days the face to face fighting were way to many US soldiers died or were wounded
