I'm running ATI 2012 under Windows 7 on a desktop purchased before USB 3.0 was released. I purchased a PCI-E card that gives me some USB 3.0 ports and they work just fine. I've created several images with ATI using the 3.0 ports and the creation time is cut by 3/4ths through them. But I can't restore any of them through either the USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports on my machine. The images validate fine but the restore crashes and reboots almost immediately after starting. I had some images from late November made through the USB 2.0 ports and one I selected from there restored just fine. I'm almost glad I picked up some virus yesterday because if I had backed up a few more weeks, I'd not have had any images made through the 2.0 ports to restore from. Given the Easeus discount currently in effect, I went ahead and picked up their imaging software. I'll run them in parallel for awhile until I have to restore again and can gain confidence in Easeus. If/when that happens, I'll probably put Acronis in the rear view.
