Many many years ago, I was helping out on a telephone poll by a dozen callers. One of the interesting test in the end is that the statistics obtained for the answers are matched for each poller --- one poller had a very high deviation from the others for a few answers and she was confronted about it --- turns out she was just tired of people hanging up and made up the answers.

In an election this close, with all the polarized emotions, I wonder if each polling company is taking extra care to check if their employees are not influenced by their partisan leanings.

Just a thought.
