If it's dying, pull the drive and hook it up to a USB enclosure or get a SATA to USB device to copy your data onto another drive, just because you are getting Blue Screens, does not mean your data can not be rescued. Windows may not be able to see it, but you may still be able to pull data of it. I have in the past.

One of my dying drives stilll let me get data off it, IDE and dust on the platters, and it copied the data lol, risky business.
