I was fixing up a laptop for a kid in the family. New keyboard, new adapter, new battery.
Toshiba A135-S4527 with Vista. He had wiped the Vista off and put Win8beta on it.

Has better specs than anything I currently have lol!

I put a new battery in an old work laptop I use on equipment, an old Pentium3-M with win2k. Thing runs forever before I have to charge the battery.

I'll advise him to do that, he doesn't need the battery if he isn't going to use it.
