Hi Mark. I think I'll have to check with Comcast to see of they have that service. While I've been away from this computer I was attempting to hook up the player to the big set in the living room, through the cable box. I think I was following the instructions (yes, I have the manuals) only to discover I need longer wires for one of the connections. I'll try Radio Shack for those tomorrow.

In the process of putting all of it back together, I've screwed up my TV and now have lost all the settings. I called support at Comcast and he had me go through the drill of unplugging, plug back in, turn off, turn on, blah blah blah, followed by the announcement he had sent a new "signal" to my box. Leave the set turned on and wait some 45 minutes for everything to be restored.... hopefully.

That might just mark the end of my messing with it. If Comcast can come out, at whatever expense and get me hooked up, I'll go with that. Otherwise, I'm stuck with watching DVDs on my computer. I may just put a monster monitor on one of my machines and settle for that arrangement. I'm the only one in the house, so it won't ever matter to anybody else.
