True, but I'll take a wild-ass guess and say that he is lying for a different reason than most! Huh? I assume he's lying because he doesn't want people to know about it. And let's face it: as, I think, Ron (ages ago) said, Monica did testify first. If he'd subsequently said well, sure, they had an affair, left her hanging, it wouldn't have looked good. Granted, NONE of it looks especially good. Most of us manage our private lives much more discreetly. But do you think there's some sort of exotic reason for his lies? I don't. He's not really a very imaginative person.
