I've about given up on hooking up my player. I've spent hours on it, trying to make it work on two different TV sets without success. In the process I messed up the reception on my big TV in the living room, had to call Comcast and go through the drill of unplugging, plugging, turn off, turn on.... do it again, go on hold for 10 minutes, blah blah blah. I actually had to call Comcast 3 separate times before finding someone who could tell me what to look for and what to do about it. One of the people couldn't speak English well enough for me to even understand half of what she was saying.
I like Judi's suggestion of the laptop connection. I'll just have to live without my old tapes unless I can find a way to convert the better ones to a DVD.
