when I answered your post the first time, I just assumed you did not like the CC information you were receiving and I had no problem with that.
The porch is a simple place where, like the header says, friends of mine, and make no mistake, the regulars are my friends, can get together and discuss anything under the sun as long as SI has the stomach for it. No one ever suggested it was a monastery serving lemonade. Make no mistake, there is a fraternity of hellions here of which I would be a charter member. I can understand you not fitting on the porch because not everyone does, but I have never understood the unsolicited cutting that people come up with. That is the reason I was so glad to get away from that damn Diamond thread. At least here we are not hypocrites about it, we tell it like it is. Now, if you have gone through an entire half a life and managed not to participate in what you have condemned either I or my friends to have done, then my hat is off to you sir, but trust me, I would not dare take that hat off again on said porch, because what they told you tonight will look as if you have been Knighted compared to what they are holding back out of respect for this dilapidated place.
