Nandu,we can certainly debate the issue to suit whatever point of view we subscribe to, I subscribe to the theory that many (not all) Indian companies are quite undervalued compared to their peers in India and elsewhere,high interest rate notwithstanding. I believe two of the reasons why some companies in India are trading well below their potential is because of the archaic security laws and the narrow breadth of the market.
