I half read an article about studies done at a few colleges and institutions years ago....way before the Internet.....finding that signs may create support for a candidate by using bright colors and simple wording. They must have found that red, white and blue with black lettering caught more attention. Those are the predominate colors on campaign signs around here.

Overwhelmingly so.
